Paste and Search

It’s almost like the right click menu is reading my mind. I can achieve in two clicks what would normally take two clicks plus hitting the enter key. The big problem is that while the update is very welcome there is still lackluster flash support in the browser. The support page only notes support for Flash 8 leaving out many popular video sites including Hulu.

Really this is a huge miss. You have an ideal setup to consume some internet television. It has an internet connection. The box is capable of outputting 480p content. You’re likely positioned in one of the primary living spaces given the very social nature of the Wii. There is a huge audience of aver 24 million consoles in the US. As you add these things up this seems like a market worth engaging. So where is the Hulu Channel? It would be a day one download for me.

Conan helps Jordan find an apartment. The first movie was so spectacular that I think it would be next to impossible to top it. Looks like it may be becoming a trend which makes me a bit worried. It is Pixar though so maybe I should be a bit more positive. However, I wasn’t a huge fan of Toy Story 2. Their films have felt so complete that it would make it difficult to really extend any of the franchises to date since the stories were so whole. The Incredibles may be about the only exception.

"Catholics with options are called Protestants."

“Catholics with options are called Protestants.”

- Stephen Colbert

St. Louis Classic 2009 Pics

A couple weekends ago I traveled to the other side of Missouri with Dick and Jane to compete in the St. Louis Classic. It was sort of an end of an era as it was really the last ride of Dick and Jane. It was a shame this fact wasn’t touched on a bit more. New leadership, new faces and a new outlook will certainly shake things up as the Summer flows onward. I don’t think Threat Level Midnight will be quite the same. But, considering we weren’t subbing for the win and how early it is in the club season 5th isn’t too bad. @fesaj took some lovely photos of the event that are certainly worth checking out.

I must say I wasn’t moving too bad given the fact that my knee just recently got back into more respectable shape shape. It’s feeling leaps and bounds better than last year which is a huge plus. The handful of solid younger players from the Kansas colleges that will be vying for playing time are getting me motivated to continue working to physically get beyond last seasons limitation. I was in a funk from the blown ACL back in the summer of 07. 2008 was a rough season personally and it’s going to be a challenge to become relevant once again.
